FODAC Golf Tournament

The Rotary Club of Stone Mountain helped promote and host the FODAC Golf Tournament. FODAC stands for Friends of Disabled Adults and Children, the goal is to supply those in need of medical equipment at little or no cost. This is not a Medicare program it is completely separate from any government organization. Families or individuals can show up to FODAC to receive everything from crutches, wheel chairs, electric chairs, hospital bed and much more.... all for the asking.

This year the club helped to solicit sponsors for the outing. FODAC received 75% of the earnings and our club received 25%. The golf outing is an annual fundraiser for FODAC and is paid for by the golfers, so there was no cost to the club. Members volunteered the day of the outing to check in, sit at the Hole in one's and help keep the players hydrated. It was a great day had by all and profitable for everyone.
