Interact Fall 2018 Activities.

C.H.A.R.T. Adviser: Heather Lindquist. 26 members. This fall worked at Hands on Thomas County volunteer day in October. Volunteered with the Thomas County History Museum to clean up after their fundraising Gala on October 28. Will sing Christmas carols at Scott Senior Center.

Bishop Hall. Adviser: Chris Huckans. 220 members. Have volunteered at Hands and Hearts for Horses, Garrison-Pilcher, Harper, Project Head Start, Jack Hadley Black History Museum, Thomasville Nursing and Rehabilitation and Hands on Thomas County. They have logged 9,360 volunteer hours.

Rose City Strings. Adviser: Dr. Sally Hernandez. 19 members. Played for Southern Pines nursing Home in October. Will play for Archbold Foundation's Tree of Lights in a few weeks.

Brookwood School. Adviser: Debbie Quinton. 30 members. This fall they collected cakes and ran the Cake Walk at Brookwood's Fall Festival raising money for a family in the community who is struggling with health issues. Also collected candy for Operation Gratitude sending candy packages to the troops.

Thomas County High School. Adviser: Tom Rinehart. No members. Currently trying to regroup.

Scholars Academy. Adviser: Dawn Hunnewwell. 12 members. They have had three monthly meetings and are working on a project called Christmas Shoe Box. Also worked two Saturdays at the soup kitchen.
