Ga Rotary Student Alumni Need

Former Ga Rotary Student Program participant Anders Remming from Denmark, was in Lamar County in the 2017 school year and created a huge bond with the club and his host family of Brian and Kelly Hughes. So, when Anders called Kelly recently to share the news that he was at Boston University working on his Masters, it was a joy to hear. However, upon arrival at the school, he found his housing cost over $1,000 more than anticipated.

Kelly succeeded in getting donations from our club members and Griffin Daybreak to cover the cost of the housing and allow him to stay at Boston University this semester. This is just one more way Rotarians stay focused on their commitment to people and those we serve.
